Emma is a
student, and she lives in an apartment by herself. There is a sofa, a bookcase, a refrigerator
and a window in her apartment. There
is a vase on the cabinet, a microwave oven on the cupboard, and a TV
suspended from the ceiling. Her
apartment is not big, but it is very comfortable.

這篇寫作要注意的地方：
1.
三單的動詞要能一致
2.
live in居住在某場所或某地方。但我們如果出遊到其他地方或國家，而短暫居留在旅館或別人家時，要用的是stay at或stay with。
A: Where are you staying while you are visiting
Taipei?
B: I am staying at Hyatt Hotel.
或 I am staying with my aunt and her family.
3.
studio apartment指的是有自己的衛浴設備的單人套房。
4.
although = though 千萬不可以和but用在同一個句子裡！！

5.
在中文裡我們說的『有….』，在英文裡打部分要以『there is 或there are』來呈現。

dining table餐桌，千萬不可說成dining room table

coffee table茶几，指的是放在客廳裡，沙發前的那張長條形的桌子。而tea table指的是喝下午茶用的桌子或是泡(老人!!)茶用的桌子。
