Mother's Day

Last Sunday was Mother's Day. Annie bought a scarf for her mother. Her mother was so touched by the gift Annie gave her. Everyone in the family celebrated Mother's Day with her mother. They had a big cake, chicken, noodles and soup. After the big meal, Annie played the piano while her father, mother and brother sang with the music. They had a good time together.

Last Sunday was Mother's Day. Annie's family decided to do something for Annie's mother. Annie bought a pink scarf for her mom. Annie's father bought some food like a big cake and some fried chicken for the special party. After the big meal, Annie played the piano and her brother sang with the music. They had a good time on Mother's Day.

Mother's Day was last Sunday. Annie bought a beautiful scarf for her mother. Her father bought a big cake and some roasted chicken, noodles and other delicious food. In addition, her sister played the piano for her mother. Her mother was very happy . It was a wonderful Mother's Day to her mother and the whole family.

Rainy Day

Yesterday, it rained heavily suddenly. Kenny had to walk in the rain because he forgot to bring an umbrella with him. As a result, he felt sick with a fever. His father took him to see the doctor. He had to take the medicine and rested in bed.

Yesterday, Kenny went out to play with his friends. Suddenly, it started to rain. Kenny didn't bring an umbrella with him, so he had to go home in the rain. Arriving home, Kenny felt very cold and he had a headache. His father took him to see the doctor. The doctor said, "You are sick. You need to take a rest at home, drink a lot of water and the the medicine after dinner today." It was a terribel to Kenny yesterday.

Sherry did not feel good with a fever and a sore throat when she got up yesterday, so she did not go to work. She went to a hospital to see a doctor instead. The doctor suggested that she drink more water, take medication on time and stay home to rest. Now, Sherry feels better than yesterday.

My House by Erin (grade 3)

I live in an apartment building with my family in Zhonghe. There are four bedrooms, a small living room, a kitchen, a small bathroom and a study in my house. My parents’ bedroom is the biggest, my brother’s is small and mine is the smallest. The living room and the study are my favorite rooms in my house because I like to watch TV, chat, read books and play computer games with my family there.

An Unhappy Experience by Amanda (grade 6)

A week ago, I was playing ball in the living room with my younger sister. I was too excited playing with her then. We were running around in the living room and throwing the ball to each other. Suddenly, I heard a crash. Oh! I broke my mother's favorite vase. Mother would be angry and punish me. Then, I saw Mother opened the door and noticed the broken vase. She was angry and asked me what happened. I was so afraid, but I was still brave enough to tell Mother the truth. I also said to Mother,"I will buy a new vase for you." This is my unhappy experience.

I'm Eileen Young. I was born on April 24th, 2001. I am 8 years old. I'm in the 2nd grade now. I like to go to school because I like to play with my friends. I like to do fun activities with my classmates, too. In my free time, I like to go bike riding, sing, swim, play Wii and Wii Fit as well as sleep. ^ o ^



I'm Jimmy Young. I was born on November 17th, 2000. I am 9 years old. I am in grade 2 now. I like to go to school because I can play fun games with my friends and my classmates. I like to play with my brothers after school. In my free time, I like to watch TV and play computer games.

I'm Mison. I was born on July 8th, 2000. I am 9 years old. I am in the third grade. I like to eat pizza, ice cream, hamburgers, fries, fried chicken, rice, sandwiches and fish. I like to go to school because I can do judo at school. I practice judo every day. I enjoy judo contests. I like to play many fun games at school with my classmates. I like music class because I can play the flute. I like PE class because I can run very fast. I like art class because I can draw animals like rabbits, mice, horses and birds. In my free time, I like to play games with my younger brother.
